Cleanstreet is an entrepreneurial neighborhood beautification business offering professional street maintenance, land landscaping, snow removal and pressure washing cleaning services.

Providing on-the-job training, mentorship, and supportive services for Breaking Ground's Teaching Factory graduates and Chicago community residents, Cleanstreet transforms lives and communities while creating quality job opportunities. Our employees are individuals who are typically excluded from the workforce due to limited educational opportunities, criminal records and recent incarceration.

Street Maintenance

What we do
Since 2005, Cleanstreet's highly-trained team has provided comprehensive beautification services, including:

Sweeping and collecting litter
Emptying garbage cans and placing new liners
Placing all filled bags at designated pickup points by the appropriate time
Cleaning, weeding and maintaining public gardens and sidewalks
Employing Crew Leaders on every team at all job sites to ensure efficiency, coordination, and client satisfaction
Conducting evaluations and creating quarterly reports to the Chambers of Commerce

Powerwashing

What we do

Cleanstreet's team is experienced in powerwashing commercial district surfaces. With their state-of-the-art equipment, they are able to remove gum, candy, tar, melted ice cream and other difficult-to-remove substances from sidewalks. The equipment used to perform this work is a commercial grade, trailer-mounted system using 3500psi, hot water and if necessary biodegradable noncaustic cleaner. Walkways are renewed in an nvironmentally friendly manor making business districts fresh and inviting.

Landscaping

What we do

The beauty, cleanliness, and ease of use can be greatly enhanced by the removal of unslightly weeds from sidewalks and tree grates. Cleanstreet landscaping crews restore and maintain the aesthetic qualities of commercial districts and strip malls through weed removal, tree trimming, flowerbed maintenance and mowing.

Snow Removal

What we do

Safety and ease of use can be enhanced by removal of snow and ice from walkways, parking lots, drive ways and intersections in winter. We provide snow removal and salting for commercial districts (strip malls) and residential areas.
