Cleanstreet is an entrepreneurial neighborhood beautification business offering professional street maintenance, and pressure washing cleaning services.
Providing on-the-job training, mentorship, and supportive services for Breaking Ground's Teaching Factory graduates and Chicago community residents, Cleanstreet transforms lives and communities while creating quality job opportunities. Our employees are individuals typically excluded from the workforce due to limited educational opportunities, criminal records and recent incarnation. |

What we do
Since 2005, Cleanstreet's highly-trained team has provided comprehensive beautification services, including:
- Sweeping and collecting litter
- Emptying garbage cans and placing new liners
- Placing all filled bags at designated pickup points by the appropriate time
- Cleaning, weeding and maintaining public gardens
- Employing Crew Leaders on every team at all job sites to ensure efficiency, coordination, and client satisfaction
- Conducting evaluations and creating quarterly reports to the Chambers of Commerce

Powerwashing
What we do
Cleanstreet team is experienced in powerwashing commercial district surfaces. With their state-of-the-art equipment, they are able to remove gum, candy, melted ice cream and other difficult-to-remove substances from sidewalks. The equipment used to perform this work is a commercial grade, trailer-mounted system having a 24 HP engine-driven pump, delivering 5 gallons/minute of cleaning solution at 5000 PSI. The solution is a powerful biodegradable noncaustic cleaner. Walkways are renewed, making business districts fresh and inviting.
